In the facilities of the Luis Nishizawa Cultural Center in Zona Esmeralda, the inauguration of the Territorial Intelligence Center (CENIT) took place at an event attended by the municipal president, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, as well as directors, councilors of the current administration, and Master José Ramón Jarquin Rodríguez, Director of Territorial Planning and Urban Development.
CENIT is a specialized unit in territorial analysis that employs cutting-edge technology to collect, analyze, and represent geographical, statistical, and operational information of the city. Its main objective is to provide solid foundations for informed and timely decision-making in public management in order to improve the quality of life of the municipality's inhabitants.
In his statements, the mayor of Atizapán, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, pointed out that the CENIT project started three years ago and has been gradually equipped with drones, Artificial Intelligence, and computers to be able to make government actions transparent, improve collection through the updating of the cadastral registry and licenses. The budget allocated has exceeded 4 billion pesos, increasing efficiency in the distribution of support and resources through precise and advanced territorial identification.
The Territorial Intelligence Center stands out for its ability to map the invisible, utilizing advanced digital technology to conduct mapping, video surveillance, and social interaction, as well as correlating data among various administrative areas to accelerate efficient decision-making. The implementation of "Digital Twins," three-dimensional replicas to visualize detailed territorial information, contributes to comprehensive territory management, which in turn optimizes financial and human resources in governmental administration.
The inauguration of CENIT positions Atizapán de Zaragoza as a benchmark in territorial management, combining technology and modernization in urban management to promote the development of the city and the quality of life of its residents.
